Hello! My name is Jennifer Schmidt. I am so excited to be at Little Blessings and to watch your child grow throughout this school year. This is my third year teaching, and before that I started substitute teaching at Little Blessings when my daughter was in the Owls class! I am passionate about littles: developing their love of learning and creating life-long learners. Before I had kids, I was in hospitality and worked in hotels for years and I have a degree in event planning. My husband, Joe, and I celebrated our 10th year of marriage this summer and have two great kids – Mason is 9 and Haddie is 7 (both Little Blessings grads), and they go to Renaissance Elementary School in Castle Rock. Joe and I are both Colorado natives. We grew up in Littleton and moved to Parker shortly after we got married. We have a very busy household with two dogs, two cats, and some fish! In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and wandering the aisles of Target (much to my husband’s dismay!) I’m looking forward to working with your kiddo and making learning fun for them!
Hi, my name is Kendra- I’m so excited for the upcoming school year! I have been with Little Blessings for 9 years and have been lead teacher certified for 8. I have taught mostly in a young 4’s/4’s classroom. I love being an early childhood educator and 4-year-olds are my favorite age group.
On a personal note, I’m happily married to my best friend of 17 years. We have 3 wonderful children-23, 16 and 13. My oldest son is in the Air Force. We also have a mini goldendoodle-Shaggy.
We love to be outdoors hiking, biking and kayaking. You can usually find us on a staycation in the mountains. When I’m not at school you can find me at the gym.
I can’t wait to meet you and your sweet child. This will be a wonderful year full of fun and growth. Thank you for entrusting us to care, nurture and guide them through the year.
Hi. My name is Lindsay. I’m so excited to be joining the Little Blessings family and looking forward to the remainder of this school year. I grew up in San Diego, went to college in San Francisco and moved to Colorado with my family in 2018. Since moving to Colorado, I have been a stay-at-home mom to my two beautiful children. In the past year, I have worked at the Parker Recreation Center as a Childcare Attendant and nannied privately for a great family. My daughter, Sophia, is 5 years old and attends Leman Academy. Last year she attended Little Blessings in the Zebra classroom. My son, Joseph, is 3 years old and is in the Hedgehog class this year. Prior to moving to Colorado, I worked as a Special Education teacher and a P.E. teacher in San Francisco, CA. I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at San Francisco State University and my Master of Education at University of San Francisco. I couldn’t be happier to begin teaching again and look forward to getting to know your children. In my free time, you can find me in the gym or outside with my kids. My recreational activities have evolved over the years from surfing, swimming, soccer, and volleyball to martial arts and now rock climbing and hiking. It’s a priority for me to continue to evolve and approach things as a new adventure. And I’m very excited about this current adventure at Little Blessings working with your children.
