Hello, my name is Cindy Klein and I am very happy to be teaching at Little Blessings in the Hedgehog room. This is my 19th year as a preschool teacher and 9th year with Little Blessings.
Preschool. I love children of all ages but my very favorite age group are the children who are 3 and 4 years old. The things they say and their enthusiasm for life makes me happy and love my job. My hope is that the children will be excited and feel loved as they experience their first years of school. I grew up in Michigan and am the youngest of 7. My husband and I have been married 37 years and we have 3 children ages 33, 31 and 28. I have a daughter-in-law and a (soon to be) son-in-law, who are wonderful! We have a dog, cat, chickens and 2 fish tanks. I love to be outdoors reading, hiking, boating and fishing.
Hi, My name is Megan Shimonek. This will be my 7th year at Little Blessings and my 20th year working with preschool aged kids. I initially worked in banking and took a break from that to have more of a family friendly schedule. It only took me a few years working with kids to realize it is my passion and I love everything about it. I love how every day can be a surprise and getting to be present for so many “ah-ha” moments with the kids. I truly love every child I have worked with and love seeing them grow! I have kids that I have cared for that are now 21! I was born and raised in Colorado in the Denver metro area and moved to Parker in 2010. I’ve been married to my husband Stefan for 18 years. We have 2 kids Emma 16 will be a junior at Legend High School and Owen 13 will be in 8th grade at North Star Academy. My family and I love road trips. I joke we’re basically the Griswold’s at this point. My kids goal is to visit all 50 states and we are currently at 41 states with all 4 of us together! I am looking forward to an amazing year with the Hedgehog class!.
